March 20 is the first day of spring, but the month of March is also spiritual awareness month—a fitting choice for focusing on one’s sense of meaning and purpose in life.

Many people look to nature to get inspiration for their purpose. When the indoor world shut down due to Covid-19 over the past year, people turned to the outdoors like never before—a gentle reminder that nature can give us a sense of peace and harmony.

While being outdoors gave us some comfort, the past year has been extremely difficult for everyone. The pandemic forced many people to re-evaluate every aspect of their lives, including their jobs, relationships and purpose. As we all move toward further re-opening and a sense of normalcy, continue to focus on those things that ground you and make you happy, including spending time outside in the sun.

As you explore nature and your connection to it during Spiritual Awareness Month, remember that everything you do impacts the world we live in. Did you know that Americans make up 5% of the world’s population, but produce 30% of the world’s waste and use 25% of the world’s resources?

You can make the world a better place for current and future generations:

  • Recycle everything you can
  • Use less fossil fuels
  • Clean your home with natural products
  • Pick up after your pet
  • Limit your use of bottled water
  • Drive a fuel efficient car, or better yet, an electric car
  • Plant trees
  • Bring your own bags to the grocery store
  • Volunteer in your community
  • Get solar panels installed on your roof

Sign up for solar during Spiritual Awareness Month. While many different factors impact direct savings from solar, a typical homeowner may be able to eliminate between 70% – 100% of their current electric bill.  Contact SI Solar today for a free, no-obligation solar assessment.

As spring arrives, take some time this March to re-evaluate your spiritual well being and discover a better balance between yourself and the rest of the world.  Then make a commitment to do more. Like go green and save green with a complete solar panel system from SI Solar in New York or New Jersey.
